Does it hurt?

Neurofeedback aims to train your brain to maintain healthy habits and disengage from those which inhibit one from attaining important functions such as good sleep and focus.
What is Neurofeedback used for?
Neurofeedback has demonstrated positive or desired results in both adolescents and adults suffering from ADHD, ADD, insomnia, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Concussions, Addiction, and much more. This is accomplished through Neurofeedback’s ability to train the brain to achieve a better balance and optimal level of wave activity.
How does it work?
Small metal sensors called electrodes detect the electrical signals emitting from the brain. In real time, a program monitors these signals and when your brain displays the target functioning, the program emits a small noise or visual bit that your brain recognizes as a reward thus training your brain to more frequently to reach the intended level of function.

Specific areas of the brain are targeted based on the initial brain scan called a QEEG.  Target areas are also rotated over the course of the entirety of sessions, so as not to overwork any target area.
How long will I have to do Neurofeedback?
Naturally, every brain responds differently to neurofeedback training. For some, as little as 20 sessions are enough to reach the target results.

Is it proven to work?
Many studies have been published examining neurofeedback for different audiences. While it is difficult to pinpoint an exact success rate as there are many different types of neurofeedback and cases, overall success rates range from 75-80%.

NeuroSync also takes additional steps to ensure optimal brain training occurs. Many things can inhibit brain training and NeuroSync works to help eliminate any inhabitants that may cause training to take longer or inhibit the maximum potential.
Can I still take my prescribed medication if I have a previously diagnosed illness?
Neurofeedback is not necessarily a replacement for other medical solutions, and it can be used in conjunction with medication, mental health counseling, or other methods. It is up to the client and their respective health care provider whether to continue or discontinue with anything other than neurofeedback.

It should be noted that over the course of neurofeedback training sessions, some individuals have been known to reduce or remove medication under the supervision of their prescribing health care professional. This is due to individuals feeling that they are no longer reliant on medication or that desired function is achieved without medication.  
What if I feel fine? Can I or should I still do Neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback has demonstrated it can help the brain do what it already does great even better! Professionals in many different fields have utilized neurofeedback to gain an edge in the workspace.
How Often do I need to do Neurofeedback?
It is recommended at a minimum to do Neurofeedback two to three times a week for at least 20 sessions. It may take longer to reach desired results however, as every brain is different.
How soon can I expect to see results?
Every individual is different as the brain is a complex organ. Some clients report a change very early in training while others it may take time for your brain to adjust. NeuroSync works to limit the things that may inhibit the training process to reach the full desired result in a timely manner.
